    I didn’t want to invest much with my first experience using an air purifier so I chose this model’s competitive price for my bedroom. It has 3 fan levels plus the on/off mode. It is quiet up until level number 3. But at level 2 where I have kept it for the last several nights, it makes a nice tolerable hum. It does not interfere in my sleep. What does bother me are the lights on top of the machine where the power/fan button is located. Each level lights up. It is very bright at night adding more light than I can tolerate. My answer was to put some painters tape over it. I think I need to double the painters tape though to make it even darker. I bought the purifier to see if it would help me not wake up with a mild sinus headache. So far I do think it has made a difference. Not completely opened up my sinuses – but I have as yet not woken up with the pressure that I often do. We have four cats and a 26 year old house so I wanted to try it. It is a decent size – bigger than I wish but not horrible (and I’m picky about extra stuff like that). It is super light weight so easy to move around. For another $50 I could have gotten a machine that doesn’t have the lights glowing all night – but this is still a fine model.

    It is a quiet machine on both lower and middle fan speed settings. It has 3 speed settings. I could ignore it’s noise and go to sleep easily.The lowest speed pushes very little air out. But it is super quiet.The reason I am giving it 4 stars because I believe it could be missing a component to do better filtration… something like thicker filters . ….or some ion generator.

    The 2 lowest settings are very quiet and you don’t even notice it’s on. Its higher setting is the loudest and moves the most air. I have had this installed for a month now, filter has lots of dog hair in it from sitting in the second setting.
