The app for this product is strangely very easy to use and has a great interface – it’s amazing you can turn on/off and do everything from your phone! I’ve never had an air purifier before so I wouldn’t know if it’s better than others, but I think it’s working. My neighbor was cooking and the smell was intoxicating my own kitchen. The smell was gone quick with this thing and it was interesting to see the PM 2.5 levels go down as the smell cleared.It has sleep mode which is great at night, and has 3 speeds/modes aside from automatic. The loudest speed is not any louder than your usual a/c central unit.I will say it’s higher than I’d like.

To put how quiet this air purifier is into perspective, it is more quiet then the hum of a refrigerator. I love how it has an auto mode so I don’t have to worry about changing the fan speed. It also comes equipped with a sensor that tells the air quality levels. To be honest I am not exactly sure how accurate it is, but it seems to be working very well. The Wi-Fi connection and app that you can download with the air purifier works for controlling when away from home, but isn’t a completely smooth experience (but it definitely gets the job done). Love the air purifier for how easy it was to use and understand. Simply plug it in and let it do the job. I am currently trying to find the right size air filters to buy when replacing it. That seems to be a bit of a challenge and I wasn’t able to find it in the manual.

I do like the simplicity of the PM2.5 reading that is directly displayed on the touch panel. Other HEPA filters with air quality monitoring require you to download an app to get the real-time readings. Not everyone is tech app savvy, so this unit might appeal to those that need PM2.5 readings without connecting it to an app.Some observations:1. I was okay with the 2.4Ghz Wifi connectivity requirement. I only found out after looking at the box where it said “works with Alexa, Siri, Google Home on 2.4 Ghz WiFi only.” I own other appliances (i.e. Frigidaire unit) that also require 2.4Ghz Wifi. In the past, I’ve had to turn on my 2.4Ghz connectivity on my router to accommodate general household appliances. Just be ready for this type of setup if you really need remote control and data monitoring through the app. I’ve not connected this to my Alexa yet, but it’s there if you want to fully use this with your Smart Home setup.2. The plastic is thicker on this unit than other HEPA units of similar size and form factor that I own. This unit feels a bit more robust in construction.3. The bottom piece can be removed by rotating the base. You’ll need to do this to change the filter cartridge. It can be hard to twist off from time to time depending on your environmental conditions. Again, this problem happens with other HEPA units of similar size and form factor so not a big deal for me; however, if you can’t deal with twisting actions (maybe you have wrist issues), then I would suggest that you look elsewhere and get a front loading HEPA air filter system.Overall, this unit met my expectations with this price point.
